Visual art contributor Van Jazmin visits fine artist Matt Coombs at his Sarasota studio. Coombs’ latest solo exhibit (his third to date) can be seen at the Clothesline Gallery through March 30.

Gallerist and curator Van Jazmin visits mixed media artist Pauly Salvatori’s home studio to take in his raw, pop-infused body of work and sit down for an intimate interview. Salvatori’s work will debut on Main Street at the Sarasota Vineyard with a soirée opening on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 6 to 11 p.m.

This month, T.E.O.T.D.T.R.E.C.M.B.B. will turn down the amps as it migrates from the bar to the art gallery for the project’s first retrospective art show, which opens at Clothesline Gallery & Boutique on Jan. 15.

Out on the steamy streets of  Sarasota, I’m not only appreciating our wonderful city but also the murals and the artists who supply us with so much to look at and enjoy.
