Wanna dress up? Wanna see original work from fine art upperclassmen? Wanna hear Shakespeare spoken the only way Shakespeare should be heard? Wanna help keep Sarasota County beautiful? Wanna spend the day on the beach? This weekend in the city Kirsten loves will make it all happen.

Kirsten writes: “Spring is in my heart! The sun sets later, flowers are in bloom, the weather is getting warmer and the Sarasota County Fair is here! Whether you attend for the rides, fried food, shows, animals or just to people-watch, it’s a tradition to kick off spring at the fair!”

With the holidays getting closer and with so much going on this weekend, I needed to focus on the task at hand: juggling all these great weekend happenings! I stayed on location at home for this weekend’s video to save time. With 11 events mentioned I needed to take a deep breath and go!

December is almost here, so now I can start planning gifts for family and friends. This month I’ll be sharing my “buy local” gift ideas with you. The weekends are full of local places having sales and parties. Why not shop and be happy with friends, while a DJ spins and the drinks are flowing?

Remember that video last Friday, where Kirsten told you where to go and what to do? She is the boss of the weekend, after all.
