It wouldn’t be much of an exaggeration to say that Corinne Woodland has been performing nonstop since she was nine. What’s remarkable is that she doesn’t take any kind of a break between shows, nor does she see it as a choice. It’s more of a “way of being,” as much a part of her identity as being raised in Bradenton or having hazel eyes.

Move over, Asheville. There’s a new small city in focus at the center of the United States’ arts radar, and that city is Sarasota. AmericanStyle Magazine announced the Top 25 Cities for Art (ranked by population into three categories of small, mid-sized and large). Sarasota skyrocketed to first place on the list, with Bradenton hot on its heels claiming the #2 spot.
