Shark’s Tooth 10K is on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 starting at 7:15 a.m. from the Venice Airport Festival Grounds. Race morning registration and packet pick up from 5:30 to 7:00 a.m. at the Festival Grounds.

The Shark’s Tooth 10K is a scenic, single loop, USATF certified course taking runners from the Venice Airport Festival Grounds, through neighborhoods, along the dune-lined, beach-front road, into Caspersen Beach Park and returning to the Festival Grounds along the Venetian Waterway Trail. The Shark’s Tooth 10K will be chip timed. Enjoy a festive post-race party featuring food from First Watch, the Daytime Café, with great music and door prizes galore from our Sponsors and Supporters and custom awards for category and age group winners. Perks include technical wicking participant shirt and goody bag plus free entry to the 20th Annual Shark’s Tooth Festival on race day.

Plenty of parking is available on site at the festival grounds but expect delays leaving the site prior to the last runners crossing the finish line. We invite you to enjoy the post-race celebration, great food, and stay for the awards and the Shark’s Tooth Festival starting at 10 a.m.

If you would like to leave before 9:15 a.m., estimated time of the last runners clearing the course on the outbound road from the Festival Grounds, off-site parking will be available at Grace United Methodist Church at the intersection of Avenido del Circo and Field Avenue, less than one mile from the start.
