More than 90 Local Businesses and Employers Provide Unique Community Event

(Sarasota, FL) — SuncoastJobs.com and the Taking Care of Business Networking and Business Alliance will hold a Business Expo and Job Fair on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 4 -7:00 PM at the Sahib Shriners’ Hall, 600 N Beneva Rd. in Sarasota. This free event showcases more than 90 local businesses, schools, online companies and employment agencies looking to network with our community and/or hire qualified candidates.

“The Business Expo and Job Fair combination showcases a dual need in our area. First, many business owners desire better exposure throughout the community through advertising, print media, online exposure and trade shows. Many of these same businesses are also looking to hire people,” said Donna Powell, group organizer for Taking Care of Business.
“Secondly, we have employment agencies, schools, insurance agencies, newspapers, online companies and numerous small businesses that are looking to hire local job seekers. So, we feel that a marriage of a business expo as well as a job fair is just what has been needed in our area for a long time. “

Featured businesses at the Business Expo and Job Fair include Rapid Web Design, Elite Family Care, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Center for Integrated Medicine and All that Glitz/Miche Bags. Recruiters and employers such as AFLAC Insurance, Gateway Bank, Bailes Employment Recruiters, Webster University, Manasota Insurance, ITT Tech, Tidbits Newspaper and Menu Magazine SRQ.com.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase as well as cash bar on site.

The Taking Care of Business Networking Alliance is a group of local business owners, networkers and entrepreneurs who want to take their business to a new level with innovative ideas.
