The Glenridge Performing Arts Center (GPAC, located at 7333 Scotland Way in Sarasota) is excited to announce it's first professional theatrical production. "The Second Time Around," a hilarious comedy by Henry Denker opening at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, is the story of four adult children who go comically crazy when their recently widowed parents meet, fall in love and decide to “shack up” — without getting married! Real life husband and wife acting team Don Walker and Jenny Aldrich will play the lovebirds for director Garry Allan Breul. The Second Time Around is being produced by Ben Turoff, GPAC Manager, and the Glenridge Players production team will be handling sets and properties, led by Stage Manager Ken Nelson. Shows are at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 10 through Saturday, March 13, with an additional matinee show on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., with all tickets going for just $17.50. Call 552-5325 today to reserve your seats!
