CHICAGO–Celebrating the connection between teens and technology, thousands of libraries across the country will showcase the many free educational and recreational Web and technological resources libraries offer during Teen Tech Week™, March 7 – 13, 2010.

Teen Tech Week is a national initiative aimed at teens, their parents, educators and other concerned adults. This year’s theme is Learn Create Share @ your library, and thousands of teens will take advantage of free gaming tournaments, computer workshops, online homework help and much more.

Administered by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), the fastest-growing division of the American Library Association, Teen Tech Week™ aims to ensure that teens are competent and ethical users of technologies, especially those that are offered through libraries. 2009 Promotional Partners include ALA Graphics, E*vanced Solutions and Tutor.com.
